The Department of Surgical Gastroenterology is the surgical division of the center for liver and digestive diseases. It aims at providing the standard of care in the field of surgical gastroenterology. The department deals with disorders of the abdominal wall, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, appendix, colon, rectum, anal canal, pancreas, liver, gall bladder and retro peritoneum. Interdepartmental coordination with Medical Gastroenterology, Oncology.
